I’d Lost Hope In Becoming A Graduate Until A Miracle Took Me To Russia – Lady by JPhilip: 7:47am On Jul 07, 2020
A Nigerian lady, Adewunmi Olujimi-Okunola has explained how she got a Federal Government scholarship, went to Russia for study, graduated with a First Class and met her husband because of a colleague’s “mistake” at work.

She revealed this in a post on social media platform, Quora, while reacting to a question: “What is something good that arose from bad circumstances?”

The lady explained that it began in 2013 when she was just a young secondary school leaver whose parents could not afford to support her tertiary education.

She said she got an internship position at a radio station, determined to work hard at growing herself despite limited education.

Adewunmi said she was on a lunch break one day when a colleague used her computer to check for scholarship opportunities in Nigeria and mistakenly forgot to close the tab on the browser.

According to her, a link to the Federal Scholarship Board, Nigeria was open and she saw that the board was accepting entries.

Adewunmi said curiosity got her to apply although she harboured no hope of being picked due to limited available slots.

Little did she know what fate had in store for her.
