AIM of ESP’s intervention in the health sector is to develop a robust health system with the capacity to withstand shocks,Accelerate implementation of the Basic Health Care Provision Fund to achieve at least a 65% increase in the share of the population covered by primary healthcare by 2023,Expand Universal Health Insurance to cover the poorest & most vulnerable by linking the National Health Insurance Scheme to the National Social Register.

NSITF will launch insurance scheme for health workers to cover exposure to COVID-19 & other infectious diseases, Access to power for health clinics through stand-alone systems or micro-grids (where necessary) and establish a favourable tariff regime to support domestic pharmaceutical companies and allied manufacturers,Mobilise private sector resources to contribute to various health funds & services such as the National Emergency Health Fund or BHCPF, support domestic
pharmaceutical companies to meet the WHO prequalification criteria & overcome a major challenge to production for export,Health infrastructural development and granting incentives like tax exemptions and support local research and development efforts aimed at production of medical and pharmaceutical resources including vaccines and consumables.

Our heath sector need serious attention as covid-19 is yet to give any sign of stopping anytime soon. The world population grows day by day, the importance of health is considered to be one of the top priorities in this modern society. kudos to Osinbajo and his team for drawing a plan to boost our health sector. We hope for better days ahead. May God save Nigeria and Nigerians from enemies within (Amen)

Covid19 has taught every country one or two lessons; always make sure your health system if not top notch or close to top notch( availability of medical facilities).

Coronavirus has made all country to tweak their budgets and Nigeria included. So Osinbajo's master plan towards making provision for not just secondary and tertiary health care but also improving and upgrading our primary health care. If adequate enforcement is carried out. We shall have a top notch health care delivery for Nigerians.

Thank God we have a leader like Buhari/Osinbajo who take the health of their people more serious, God will surely bless our true leaders

The coronavirus exposed lots of frailities in the Nigerian health sector. The Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) was put in place to tackle the effects of COVID-19 on different sectors in the country with the health sector inclusive. Osinbajo's team came up with strategies to improve the quality in the health sector by providing basic facilities and infrastructure necessary to help Nigerians.

Whenever Osinbajo is involved in any matter, ultimate success is sure. Health sector seriously need government intervention most especially at this period of COVID19
