Most people at one point in time have gone through a heartbreak; no matter how is serious their relationship was. And if you've never been heartbroken then lucky you, but for those who have been through it, or are currently hurting, you should read on.

Here are things you shouldn't do after getting your heartbroken.



1. Stop begging your partner to take you back. The first apology is totally normal because you want to know if you wronged them. Don't beg and if you already have, it should never happen more than once.



2. Revenge is definitely a no-no. Don't destroy your partner's property, don't bad mouth your ex because not only does it leave a bad taste, you're only showing your ex that they own your happiness.




3. Some people actually break up with you but still want to be in contact with you. This kind of shitty attitude gives you hope and makes you feel you guys might get back together. Leave no room for contact and do not contact your ex.




4. Don't go to their social media pages because it will only worsen the pain. You keep seeing your ex’s face and remember the good days. Seriously, thinking about those things every day will not make you heal. Stay away from your ex!
