NaijaRoyalty: Well, not until the Supreme Court governors of Zamfara and Bayelsa are removed. Till then, Uzodinma is going nowhere. Anyway, the case is just a mere ploy to distract the governor. I will urge Governor Hope Uzodinma not to be distracted. He should continue the good work that he’s doing especially in the area of exposing the frauds perpetuated by the previous administrations. 130 Likes 16 Shares |

I always felt his legitimacy as candidate of APC ought to be contested given the SC's affirmation of Uche Nwosu as valid APC candidate for the election. Note that the primaries that produced Uzodinma was different from the one that produced Nwosu. Which means it's illegal cc: fergie001, Dansuqi 84 Likes 9 Shares |

Where's the cursed useless old man called abagworo? Your supreme court governor is about to go down. Okoroawusa and Ihedioha looted and left, Hopeless Uzodimma is now looting his own. Imo state is in deep trouble with over 153 billion naira internal debt, borrowed and looted with nothing to show in the state. Good job to Okoroawusa, Ihedioha and Hopeless Uzodimma for making sure that Imo state remained down with endless political crisis that ensured backwardness 3 Likes 1 Share |

inJustice Tanko, Kekere-Ekun and their accomplices really threw caution to the wind in their desperation to execute the hatched-up plot to remove Ihedioha at all cost. Everything about that fraudulent judgement completely stands logic on its head. How do you reconcile a previous judgement by the same Supreme court declaring Uche Nwosu the authentic APC candidate with another "Jankara" award of 288,000 phantom votes to declare Hope Uzodinma winner under the same party? Can a party put forth two candidates for a single seat? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Dead on arrival because Ihedioha raised similar issues in his petition and the supreme court ruled on it. Besides this is a pre election matter which is being filled out of time and has been overtaken by events. Thus it is time barred. Section 285(9) of the 1999 Constitution is clear on this. This section provides: 285(9):- “Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this constitution, every pre-election matter shall be filed not later than 14 days from the date of the occurrence of the event, decision or action complained of in the suit”. To activate this constitutional clause, a pre-election suit must be filed within 14 days from the occurrence of event or cause of action. Once the 14 days lapses, the court have no jurisdiction to entertain it. Therefore, a cause of action is statute-barred if legal proceedings cannot be commenced in respect of same, because the period laid down by the limitation law had elapsed. 4 Likes 1 Share

Agboriotejoye:Yes, it will be looked at ...only for future references. The case is time-barred...Section 285 of the 1999 Constitution is unambiguous wrt to time limit of election cases. Nothing can be done at this time. The case has expired. 3 Likes |
