Dont accuse an innocent woman.... My maternal family had an history of asthma not all the children had the asthma however my maternal uncle all of a sudden in old age developed the symptoms and was given an inhaler with test results.... Should his wife say after 15 years of marriage are husband as lied to her? The question you should be asking is how can you manage the situation on ground I.e the asthma and the concurrent lifestyle changes than looking for a fight and also clarify things with her. Abeg dont go and cause trouble in your home

Why don't you ask your wife about this? The asthma might have just developed recently; it's not uncommon for adults, who have never had asthma, to develop asthma. When it's well managed, you'll barely notice that it's there.
She might be struggling to wrap her head around having asthma if it only just developed/manifested in her recently and she might be unsure about how to broach this with you; if your reactions to certain situations in the past have been emotionally charged, it might be a reason for the delay in telling you.
If her answer points to the fact that it had been existing before you both got married, the both of you need to go back to the drawing board to ascertain what the root issue is to enable you reach a lasting solution and not just patching over issues.
It doesn't make her a bad wife, it just means that both of you need to be more open with communication as this is key in building a long-lasting and happy marriage.
At the end of the day, the decision is up to you; if you can go on without wondering what else she's hiding or has lied about and without wanting to "punish" her for it, good but if not, leave. You can't eat your cake and have it; it's one or the other.

6 in every 10 Nigerian above the age of 30 is either asthmatic or suffering from breathing related allergy.


For your info, I am allergic, and almost like asthma and I use inhaler once in a while when I feel exposed to triggers.

I already gave an example of men fathering other men's children and I don't see you saying why wasn't the men observant. Afterall there are certain physically attributes which could trigger suspections.

People have certain health conditions in which unless they tell you,you won't know.If she took her drugs regularly and didn't have those triggers, there's no way the man will know.
