New account doesn't necessarily mean it will be for scamming.. It is just so absurd that people derive joy in taking what other suffer to get all in the name of being a sharp guy.. These scammers are killing businesess...

Never pay money to anybody you have not come in contact with, no matter how juicy the business transaction may look, the rate of criminals in this site called nairaland, is too high......

It's so unfortunate, there are so many scammers here on nairaland, one of my friend, that was scammed here on nairaland, narrated his own scenario, he wanted to design a site and also do an SEO, he went to the web development section, and open a thread, seeking for anyone that could help, and some of the scammers contacted him and they agreed for 45k, and he was asked to pay 20k ahead, not knowing that is the end of the 20k, this scammer has like 3 nairaland user id, for each sections, one for website design section, another one for job section, police employment form, custom employment form etc, and the funniest thing is that, he uses one phone number, and if you Google it, you would see scam related warming popping up, now he uses dash to diffentate it, so people would not know.


Never agree to pay money to someone you don't know, you have not seen him or her, just on the internet, it's very risky, meet one on one, face to face, if you demand for this, you would notice, I would not come back again.

That's the end I will never try it again .I rather find someone close or get an excro

This is where the use of BVN is supposed to come into use. Whatever accounts the BVN is linked to is supposed to be put on hold too. He won't be able to do any transaction with his ATMs and if he mistakenly enters bank to rectify it, he will be arrested but sadly the BVN is totally useless.

Nairaland account deleted. Easy to track. U av his number and account. My advice... spend money to catch him. Dont be discouraged with any amount police will charge. Just make sure u catch him, then bill him and his entire family 1000% of d amount u spent... Don’t look at d amount he got from u. Thats what i did to an idiot that tried it with me. Good luck.

The one that did it with me when I wanted getting a galaxy s9+.."phone plug..phone plug with nation wide delivery"..my brother I pay 170k as at then..the guy delete every every,block number join..I went to the bank and then police..even travelled to pH when they arrested him..he paid me back for every penny..even my transport fare...
