At a little above 5months. She has gone through her first stage of rapid growth. Getting taller.. stretching out. Right now she is as tall as my late GSDxCaucasian!

Her size is definitely a result of good genes and good food. Lots of food, she can eat and sh!t all day.

Thanks. For muscle gain i have a small but effective training program for her. I am just waiting for her to turn 6months.

I intend to introduce her to weight pulling (tire and drag harness). I will gradually increase the weight as she grows and get stronger. In no time muscles will form. Big dogs are prone to bone & joints problems, so for now i am just taking it easy on her.

Very thoughtful of you. She couldn't have asked for a better companion. Keep it up. May God see you through.

I read that one of the easiest ways of telling how tall a dog will be is by doubling its size at 6 months.

If its true i am in trouble coz she is a lil bit above my knee already!

Tire pulling is a sport for dogs like weight lifting is for us humans, so since i am not able to meet up with adequate walks i hooked her up to a tire for some tire pulling fun...

At first it was strange for her, i left her with the tire to first get acquainted . Then i used treats and commands to motivate her. After pulling for a straight line i will command ger to sit then praise and give treats.

I do need a proper harness though, that chain no be am.

Yeah, she just destroyed one. I only have a choke chain i use for her walks, i will need a very strong collar, because on her own collars dont last!

Thank you for your comment. Yes, i do need a proper harness if i want to continue, what you saw was just a test. (Which i havent done since that one time).

1. If you had taken some time to read through b4 trying to drag my responsibility or humanity here, you would have seen were i criticized myself already!
2. There was nothing inhumane here, we had a little outdoor fun together, because i dont have a harness doesnt mean we cant try out new activities together.
3. Oga i am proud of how i raise my dogs, pls go through my threads, do any of my dogs look ill- treated?

Zee will be 9months this week. She is 24inches at the withers and still growing. She looks kinda skinny these days regardless of how much she eats. I guess its the growing process.
