What Percentage Should Be Deducted From My Salary? by Slurity(m): 7:43pm On Jul 13, 2020 |
Hello Nairalanders, please I need your help concerning understanding the true deduction that was supposed to be deducted from my salary. I work with a private company in Lagos and I was happy when I received my letter of appointment over a month ago because it is more than double of my take home where I resigned from before joining the new company, But i was shocked when I receive alert of 30th last month noticing that a whopping 11.5% of the gross salary is deducted as tax and others that I will soon find out. Please I need your help to understand what is actually expected from a standard deductions before I face the HR and the accountant next week. |
