59-year-old Pastor Okedokun Abiodun of the Light Christian Church, Odeda in Odeda Local Government Area, Ogun state, has been arrested for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl.

The victim’s father told the Police that the pastor saw his daughter playing in the mist of other children and called upon her to go bring his key for him in the room, while the girl was going in to get the  key, the pastor immediately followed her from behind and pushed her into the bed, covered her mouth with his hands and then raped her.

Following interrogations, he suspect confessed to committing the crime and has since been detained at Odeda police station; while the victim has been taken to General hospital Odeda for medical attention
