Professor Charles Egbu, from Abatete, Idemili North LGA Anambra State of Nigeria, has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University.

That makes him the first Africa VC of a UK University or College. The Kenneth Dike and Eni Njoku of our times. Please let us celebrate him.

Please edit the is thread to represent the originality of African. "That makes him the first African VC of a UK University or College. The Kenneth Dike and Eni Njoku of our times".

The nonsense "Black" is not human being but a crap from color chart. In addition, black is not synonymous with Africa. I really do not know why certain goons from Africa continue to propagate the silliness of black for Africa.

Wow.....that's impressive, but please note that his First Degree was in Quantity Surveying [First Class Honours], Leeds, UK. His Doctorate was also obtained from the University of Salford, UK, in the area of Construction Management....
There is nothing in his certifications or biography online linking him to Nigeria, He probably was born(or migrated early) and schooled there...

Soo dont put yourself in his shoes just yet.... undecided,
Not that he finished from akungba or akoko university and went to chop VC in England.. undecided
