Think about it, if this really happens will it make our governors more oriented and target driven.

Most people want to be remembered for their good deeds and I think this would make the governors perform better.
I think Governors that have excelled in their job should be given a national award of excellence.

Oh it is only a blind man that calls white red. The truth is that DUKE worked only in Calabar town and not for cross river. Why because the northern part of the state like YALA OGOJA ect suffered total neglect by the duke administrtion. NO roads water infact basic necessity of life.

I agree with u stranger12. Don Duke deserves applause. Okparipo,free ur mind. Don was the Governor of Cross River State not of Ikom, Abi,Ugep or Yakurr. Was he suppose to build houses/farm/plant cocoa for all the northern Cross Riverians? What was the role of the councillors,local govt chairmen and or even those in the house of reps/assembly.
The Tinapa resort and the Obudu Ranch Resort are goldmines; avail urself of these opportunities else we will sit down and nurse grudges while others will spin billions for themselves from our ''diamond deposits''.

good piece, this will generally trigger governors to be budget and not money oriented, at least if this should go on governors will learn to adhere strictly to their budget and be prudent wth public funds. there by making ur country a better place, at least ur children wont be pure water hawkers.
