That asphalt will be washed away in some few months because the edge of the road is not properly reinforced.

He didn't choose a side.

Christian's don't get as offended if you insult their religion/prophets.

I believe NL Muslums asked for that as a barrier.

Unfortunately, there are those who might physically harm him for offensive content others post on his forum.

For his safety, he had to do that.

Google "Charlie Hebdo shooting"...

Also, remember that a few years ago, Nairaland was hacked and the entire database deleted...including the backup.

Only luck Se.un had was that he had a dated copy backed up remotely.

Probably people offended by religious or political content, and they took it out on him.

Usually, Muslims don't go about evangelising on random threads. They typically mind their own business.

So it's a good thing that this has reduced friction.

It was made because we dont see Muslim going about insulting Christianity the way our so called Christian's on the forum attack everything Islam, calling all of them terrorists. Whereas they mind their own business when we create christian religious threads, or even when they dare to comment, they don't go about calling us unprintable names like we do them.

I have no problem with the weird acceptance but it should also be in Christian’s post. He is an atheist. Why choose a side
dont mind him, he pretends to have not taken side, it has simply given those toxic people the impetus to have a field day insulting, and making hateful comments on the Christan threads.

Have you bothered looking at it from this angle? Maybe a major financier/stakeholder of Nairaland website is responsible for this glaring bias.

I can confidently assure you that the moment everyone is made to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior before commenting, the insults will drastically reduce.

You are very correct, the way Christian rain abuses on Muslim without remarks at any slice. What is becoming of the Christians, Muslim will never start any provovative coment but Christian will call them all sort of names. Recently i was passing through a street, this Hausa boy a refuse disposal was going around calling for dirt to be collected, some boys in the street started calling him Boko haram for no reason. He told them to stop and he find it difficult to communicate in English, i have to let those boys understand their bad attitude.

The orientation the elderly one are passing to the younger one are nothing to write home about and this cut across all tribe, it should be discourage.

We should be thinking of lasting solution to the bitterness in our mind and back to where we were before sentiment sets in and corrupt our mind.
