Good for KD. We need even development across the nation to create employment for our youth and reduce the rural - urban migration. It should also reduce terrorism and create more opportunities for small and medium scale enterprises in our communities. |

So you were in Abuja and still couldn’t spot the difference? Oh those roads were built since 2006? Do Lagos state government really care about Lagos? Most development you see in Lagos today are done by developers(private investors) stonemasonn: 1 Like 1 Share |

It will be nice to decongest Lagos so other part of Nigeria can develop. The little man from KD is doing a good job so far. |

Omooba77:Sharap! It's all about the governor. Which kind "deluded" eradication of poverty scheme. Very unintelligent and ignorant post. Have you been to kaduna lately? Do you even know the massive infrastructure constructed in kaduna? Kaduna is seriously turning into Abuja. Don't you know investors are attracted to infrastructures? Or would you also say Abuja's development during el-rufai's reign as minister of fct was due to some poverty eradication scheme or aid granted to the region as per "north"? So ignorant and unintelligent of you. Ever since the massive development in Abuja by el-rufai, haven't there been an increase in investment (economic activities) in that city? And don't give me that "it's the capital of the nation crap" Cos if you are well travelled you'll realize there are countries whose capital are not investment hubs as such. Even Washington DC when it comes to "economic activities" and investments cannot be compared to California or Florida, Nevada, Atlanta not just New York sef. Go siddon jor. Very ignorant post. People would sit down and talk nonsense about the north without visiting to see things for themselves. "Dem say Dem say" is what people rely on and argue like they are aware FIRST HAND. Rumour peddlers everywhere. Learn not to believe everything the media tells you. Fake news is real. That report is true and thanks to the Governor (El-rufai) who has been developing the state and covid-19 which brought Lagos backwards. Go to north and see wonders, you'll cry and oust your state governors. You'll see reasons why niger-delta militants are shouting (even though i dont support militancy and they of course are being cheated by their own leaders and chiefs hence fighting blindly and fighting the wrong enemy) Don't argue blindly please 6 Likes |

MelesZenawi: Just listen to yourself! Your answer wasn’t to refute my allegation that Buhari is nepotistic, greedy, unfair and corrupt, but to say Obasanjo did it as well! I suppose it’s all good then since, as you claim, Obasanjo was guilty of the same offence! |
Re: NIPC: Kaduna Overtakes Lagos In Investment Flow by alizma: 11:50am On Jul 20, 2020 |
mrvitalis:Not welcoming foreign investors and putting in place regulations that will ensure that profit from investment in a particular environment is largely reinvested within that same environment for economic development are two different things. Your earlier post to which I responded to is different from your second post which is more reasonable. |

We keep telling Nlanders that investment is about market availability, culture of the people, govt policies and access to raw materials not bigotry. If we had access to the sea, northern states like Kano, Kaduna and the FCT would be competing neck to neck with Lagos. Rilwayne001 take note. Our illiteracy did not stop us. 2 Likes 1 Share |

mrvitalis:Now, you see the main reason why the Igbo region is the least developed in the whole Nigeria. Imagine if Yoruba government stopped the Igbo investments from Eko Idumota, Ladipo, Computer Village and Alaba Market and replaced them with Yoruba investments. Would you be happy again? Your:""I'm happy Igbo towns are 99.99% indigenous investors"" will become bitterness right? Since the Igbos biggest investments are situated in a foreign lands. |
