The scene which seems to not be the first time he is laughing got the Priest very upset to the extend that he was ready to stop the marriage. It was all going well until the Priest said “Forsaking all other girlfriends” The man getting married was supposed to repeat with seriousness but rather burst into laugh as he recited it.
