Good sleeping is highly recommended to everyone. Sleep is the is natural state of resting during which your eyes closed and you become unconscious to the things happening in the environment.
Inhibiting good sleep is very essential for our good health in terms of physical and emotional wellbeing. Not getting enough sleep can be cranky to your body systems.

1: Short sleep duration is associated with an increased risk of weight gain and obesity in both children and adults (you might get confused though) . According to sleep scientists, there is no doubt that insufficient sleep promotes hunger and appetite, which causes excessive food intake, leading to weight gain.
The hormones ( ghrelin and leptin) that are responsible for the regulation of our appetite works inversely. In other words, ghrelin that is responsible for hunger increases while leptin that is responsible for our fullness decreases due to not getting enough sleep.
