With 61 points from their opening 21 matches, Liverpool set the record for most points accumulated by that stage in any top five European league, and extended the record to 79 points from 27 matches before losing 3-0 to Watford.

Most points won over 38 games
Liverpool set a record of 104 points from 38 Premier League matches (a maximum possible total of 114) with a 1-0 win over Spurs on January 11. This beat the record of 102 set by Manchester City (2018) and Chelsea (2005).

Biggest lead at top of the table
Liverpool had a 25 point lead at one stage of the season, which is the largest ever in the English top division.

Most home wins in a row
The 3-2 win over West Ham on February 24 was Liverpool's 21st consecutive home win, a record extended to 24 after wins over Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa, beating the former record of 20 set by Manchester City between 2011 and 2012.

Earliest a team has ever won the title
Liverpool won the league with seven games to spare, beating the former record of five set by Manchester United in 2000/2001 and Manchester City in 2017/18.
