How is election conducted in your life ? Is there any other way that election can be conducted than the one you know ? More than 90% of Npower beneficiaries voted for Buhari because they were convinced by the special adviser to the president through a virtual meeting that they will be granted permanency if Buhari is re-elected. Now deduct #500,000 votes from his electoral victory. Some went ahead to convince non beneficiaries because of their future.
What a joke you are Mr man for Deducting 500,000 Npower Beneficiary,'s votes from total vote to justify your struggle to re- elect Buhari.Buhari would have win or lose with or without Npower Beneficiaries.Np
Npower is not an employment ,just a social programme to eradicate poverty .The government set aside fund to cater for it .Now the fund exhausted for your batch,They have to put an end to your own programme, so that they can attend to other batch, which is batch C.
Why don't you go to court instead of disturbing the country with unhealthy protest during this pandemic era.
You really have a good case
In the case of
"Npower Batch A and B beneficiary Vs Federal Government of Nigeria "
Evidence ---" A virture meeting by the president special adviser to grant us permanency if the president remain elected ""

Even if the government wants to employ from batch A to Z, there is money to pay all of them in this country. Moreover, a single politician would embezzle billions, talk less of these Nigerian youths who are requesting for peanut. The npower is d best programme of this administration, the government should not allow it to end in shambles. Civil defense will never forget Obasanjo. Road safety will never forget Soyinka and IBB. It is time for Buhari to keep everlasting good record or mar his name. No matter what happens, if Buhari does not make these beneficiaries smile at last, with the current protests, this administration has done beautiful nonsense. And in 2023, it must come down. Don't miss this opportunity - my advise to Buhari, because it is his name that will bear it, whether good or evil. The Nigerian money is meant for all Nigerians, not for only those in position.

The government should give them permanent employment. Where are the jobs? If they disengage them just like that, where will they get job? Is it in this same Nigeria?. Government better act fast by employing them. Just imagine 500,000 graduates jobless. Especially in these hard times. Kidnapping, armed robbery, internet fraud and so on. Why did they promise them permanency at the end of their 2 years contract? Why didn't they disengage them that time? They used them to win election and now they want to put them out in the cold. No way! They should fight for their right. God will help them. Let all Npower beneficiaries pray with PSALMS 35

Most npower beneficiaries (and that's an apt word as the government was basically dashing 30k out monthly) did not do any actual work.

Instead of government to employ NPower beneficiaries again, they might as well dash billions of naira to Bet9ja, Nigerian Breweries, Guiness and Baba Ijebu as that's what the meagre sum is often spent on.

Government should have spent the NPower money on things that would provide multiplier effects. Instead of paying 10 NPower persons a total of 7.2 million over 2 years, provide a 7 million naira loan to an individual or team to pay 10 million over 5 years (first year with moratorium). That situation would have created far better economic improvement than the cheap ploy that is NPower.

Because of the elections, they even let the program run beyond it's stated point to the extent that the beneficiaries developed entitlement mentality

well said, but wat will happen to those graduate educationist (Bed,NcE) seeking for jobs
The truth is that we need more than one teacher for each subject in our schools. Do you know that in some schools, one English teacher take from SS 1 to SS 3.The same thing is applicable to most of the subjects in government owned schools. Some even take from JS to SS classes. Its really pathetic. If only they can cut the cost of governance and channel the money to Education.

The level of poverty is this country is alarming. Just imagine how graduates are protesting for 30k job.

The government should look into their demands. They should conduct a comprehensive interview for them.If possible get an agency to do the interview. Those who scale through should be employed, most especially as teachers.Because, the education sector is a big mess.

To u, education is a dumping ground and teaching is a steppingstone

You didn't read my post well,or you misunderstood me.I specifically made mention of a comprehensive screening and interview. I never said the government should absorb all of them.Only the competent ones should be retained. By so doing the ones that are not qualified for the job will see know body to blame.

I know you will argue with me based on the fact that they never attended teachers college but trust me a lot of graduate have what it takes to be a teacher.
