Surah An-Najm, Verse 3:
وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ

Nor does he speak of (his own) desire.

Surah An-Najm, Verse 4:
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَىٰ

It is only an Inspiration that is inspired.

Surah An-Najm, Verse 5:
عَلَّمَهُ شَدِيدُ الْقُوَىٰ

He has been taught (this Quran) by one mighty in power [Jibrael (Gabriel)].

Verse 5 a above shows us that he was taught word for word by the archangel.
Another verse to support my assertions:
Surah Al-Alaq, Verse 1:
اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists).
But verse four of Suratul Najm above shows us as well that he was inspired, hence it will be his wordings...
I think we need the input of the ulammas...
