The Federal government of Nigeria had through it's Minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed on Thursday ask Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to completely shutdown the Broadcasting of the Big Brother Naija Reality Tv show over fears that it might escalate cases of the coronavirus. This is coming after the Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) agitated for the total eradication of BBNaija, tagging it evil According to news reports from reliable sources for example TheCable, the acting director-general of the NBC, Armstrong Idachaba, informed senior management members that he had been directed by the minister of information to suspend the Broadcasting of BBNaija show due to possible spread of COVID-19 amongst housemates.
