Fani-kayode Breaks Silence 7days After Heated Criticism, Calls For Forgiveness by Arewaaffairs(m): 8:32am On Jul 26, 2020
The former Minister of Aviation and controversial politician, Femi Fani-Kayode has breaked his silence over wide range of criticism against traditional title ' Sadaukin Shinkafi' conferred on him by Shinkafi Emirate.

He made the called in a long statement posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

Fani-Kayode Kayode has called for forgiveness of among Nigerians and put difference aside, maintaining that such ' will be a guiding principles ensuring peace and tranquility in Nigeria '

He said " We must forgive one another for past hurts and slights and we must attempt to put our differences aside and recognise our common humanity. That ought to be the guiding principle and focus as from today and it shall certainly be mine.

There is no gain saying that in all faiths, in all races and in all tribes we have both good and bad. Not one tribe or faith is free of evil men and not one is made up of solely demons or angels"

" All tribes and races have both and what is reckless, dangerous, unacceptable and indefensible is for us to demonise a whole race or a whole faith simply because of the actions of a few. And to a large extent many of us have been guilty of doing that in varying degrees over the years" Fani-Kayode added.

Lol. You Okoros are so emotional and clueless.
If they were to gather 4 million Yorubas capable of speaking for the ethnic group because they are respected and accomplished people with integrity, FFK would not be included.

He would not even make a list of ten million meritoriously respected Yorubas. Only you petty Igbos view the divisive, derided and mentally unstable FFK as you do and we know why.

In reality, FFK is nothing to the Yorubas. A disgrace actually but that is the very reason you lot worship his kind and the likes of Fayose, Olunloyo etal while you hate real and beloved Omoluabis like Soyinka, Awolowo, Abiola, Tinubu, Osinbajo, Fashola, Aregbesola and many others.

If you have a soul and know what the word conscience means, you wouldn't type this nonsense.

From time immemorial, we've been screaming at the top of our voices that you and your brothers be wary of the bastard called Kayode Fani but you people insisted he's worth more than any politician you've ever come across, brave and courageous. You swallow whatever he says hook line and sinker and you guys damn near pledged your lives to him in servitude.

We all knew a day will come when Kayode would make a complete 180⁰ but since he was busy insulting Northerners, he couldn't be more useful to you guys. Now the story is fast changing, assuming the dimension we had predicted years ago, and you open your dirt to shamelessly type this nonsense.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

It’s obvious you do t know FFK. The guy says whatever pays his bills at any point in time. If Buhari offers him a political appointment today, he will be the number one praise singer of Buhari. Give FFK food and he will sing for you.

Stop trying to change the narrative, FFK is the darling of the Igbos. He’s the only Yoruba man Igbos like Nnamdi Kanu can relate with. We dashed him to the Igbo nation since 2015. FFK doesn’t represent the Yoruba nation on any issue.

Indeed and this shows the real character of Igbos. They are only to be found worshipping and deifying omo ale Yorubas.

Yet they will passionately hate and malevolently stalk any Omoluabi the Yorubas themselves revere and elevate.

That alone should show sensible Yorubas that Igbos do not mean well for us. They are only ever interested in worshipping miscreant and omo ale Yorubas they feel are an embarrassment and problem for us as a people.

That's usually their trend. When they are committing atrocities, they go all out to do it. So long as they will achieve their selfish interest. After all, tomorrow, they will come and weep up sentiments and say, they are sorry, and they will be forgiven. Nonsense.

It's unfortunate that NL in the last few years has grown an entire generation of imbeciles who have reduced serious national issues to petty inter tribal acrimony. They believe you must be Igbo if not Yoruba in a country of over 200 tribes.

At first it was funny now it's so pathetic and so sad. It also explains what is fundamentally wrong with the Nigerian youth and why they are so vulnerable to manipulation by their tormentors disguised as leaders. You all will continue to suffer a long time.

FFK never claimed to represent the Christian south or the non Muslim North that is at the recieving end of Fulani brigandage. He saw himself as a battle axe of the Yorubas threatening fire and brimstone.

Nevertheless, my comment wasn't to spite the Yorubas but to underline how fickle and unserious a character he is and why he should never be taken seriously. In a more serious clime, Fanikayode has just committed political suicide.

In all likelihood, a friend of his up north may have conjured some kind of 'Political solution' to his legal problems with the EFCC and made a public recant of his vituperations against the Fulani a precondition. This is how I see it, this is how any reasonable person will see it. It is for Fanikayode to now prove otherwise that it is untrue.

Do not draw me into your useless Yoruba, Igbo squabble. I belong to neither.
