OHANAEZE NDIGBO RIVERS STATE CHAPTER VISITS IKOKWU MOTOR SPARE PARTS/MECHANIC ASSOCIATION

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Rivers State Chapter Executives led by the State President; High Chief Bartholomew Ositadimma Okere visited Ikokwu Spare parts traders/Mechanic Association and the family of Mr. Chima Ikwunado to discuss the way forward towards the release of the four persons remanded in custodial centre by E-CRACK team and also how to get back the remains of Mr Chima Ikwuando whom was murdered in a cold blood by the overzealous Policemen of E-CRACK squad in Mile One area of Port Harcourt.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo advised the market people to desist from further protest in order to prevent hoodlums and street urchins from high jacking the process and foment trouble.

Ikokwu Spare Parts dealers agreed with Ohanaeze Ndigbo Rivers State to shutdown Ikokwu Spare Parts Market by Next week Wednesday after the expiration of the ultimatum given by duo Leadership if the remains of Mr Chima Ikwunado is not released to his family for befitting burial.

Central Chairman of Ikokwu Spare Parts Market; Chief Anthony Iwu and his Executive team said that an agreement have been reached by the entire Market Executive and its members to shutdown the Market on Wednesday 29/01/2020 if their demands are not met by the Police Command to release four other colleagues of Mr Chima Ikwuando incarcerated with smelling wounds inflicted by the Policemen and equally all those arrested during the protest few days ago.
