Once he made his return from prison, his fleshly needs and not only his psychological needs quickened. He could not tame them. A bit of smoking had permeated into the sensible part of his brain, even though he is still visiting Aunty Glam’s office for therapy. His family and friends had done a lot to ensure his release from the prison over a forcing-himself-on-a-girl's case. Alomo thanked them a million for that and often clutched unto the Bible to remind his spirit, soul and body of the promise he had made to his loved ones not to go back to crime, especially his step-mother who loved him like his own son. They did not know if it was the illegal grass he inhaled or just perversion that drew him to the crime. All was suddenly well as it turned one year after his release.

Nneka, Nneka, Nneka, he would think. While in prison, he rejected the thought of Nneka to the extreme. He would always puff those smoke to move on. He would scream and kick trying to prevent himself from not looking at his fellow prisoner’s back because of Nneka.

Women are beautiful and so is Nneka. In fact, women are everything and so is Nneka. Yet her own was her won, she had that shaky but standing bumps on her chest followed by a tiny waist and the rest of what followed he could not describe, the beginning to its end ate his head. He knew he would get back to her but he needed to grow. He did, he took few years to quit smoking in the cell and embraced God’s words. He would do anything to remain a good person and forever find succour in love. Nneka’s love. He prayed everyday that all was well with her and the Almighty must grant him this definite wish. For over a year, after his release, he had kept....
