I noticed ipob is currently facing difficult times both by our brothers and outsiders the killing of ipob members in oba anambra was really heartbreakingm Have you ever seen a movement that has 100% support from the locals?infact ipob is very lucky it can boast of 85% Igbo support Massob wasn't that popular.they have to come to reality that not all Igbos will accept the movement. Even when America was fighting for independence from Britain many Americans saw the war as senseless because many Americans believed Americans can not defeat the almighty British empire in war but is America not free today ..lets keep moving nothing on earth can stop the course of a determined soul...

If just 50% of igbos support Biafra/IPOB Nigeria would have become history, No Igbo political or traditional leader have ever come out to support, if igbo leaders didn't go around begging like orphans when the northern youths gave them ultimatum to leave their land, Biafra and every others will be long achieved by now. majority of igbos are not ready for biafra

You don't need everybody to support but you need a sizeable number of political class, professionals e.t.c.

With all you see here on Nl if you still believe over 80% of Igbos do not support biafra then you are not truthful to yourself this new generation of Igbos are just do not want to experience what happened in 1966-1967 because a demand for BiAfra always mean war to an average Nigerian..

The ONLY reason an Igbo will not support Biafra is because of the hoodlum behavior of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB.

Imagine a Biafra where elderly citizens are flogged on the streets for merely holding a contrary opinion on any issue?

Nnamdi Kanu's arrogance and total disrespect for any contrary opinion other than his own is the BIGGEST OBSTACLE TO BIAFRA.

Empty your cup of premeditated judgement or probably you are short of extensive comprehension, remember I use the conditional statement "if" that is the product of an outcome if the input is true, I didn't say 80% doesn't support Biafra, I said "if" 50% support Biafra, it will have been a reality, and the claim of 80% seems vague and refutable because of the input doesn't commensurate with desired output, igbo leaders should have come out plainly when the golden opportunity was presented to them by the northern youths, but instead of igbos cutting all ties with Nigerians they went around begging northern leaders like slaves.

Well, so called elders are flogged on the streets of Europe, but you all want to run there to live. If you're leaders are not accountable to the masses, then they'll do whatever they want. Which in many instances isn't in the interest of the people.

Every igbo man is first of all a Biafran at heart, secondly a Biafran, and finally a Biafran.! This includes the pretending politicians, for instance the likes of Mr Joe igbokwe, when the chips are down, we know ourselves, get that into your thick skull.. You can't stay in your hut in ogbomosho to analyse what is happening in places you have never and will never visit basing your facts in fake paid Internet accounts that impersonate igbo names.

IPOB is just a faction, it doesn't mean all Biafrans must belong, and it doesn't mean those who don't belong are not Biafrans.

Those Northern Nigerians reneged on their initiate statement, after the month lapsed. That was their decision. They don't have any leverage, nor do they have anything to offer Igbo people, so it makes no sense for them to threaten us. Stealing or destroying Igbo businesses in their land, will hurt them, more than it does us.

Succession is illegal under the constitution of Nigeria. The reality is, that Nigeria is a fascist state. Dissension is frowned upon and illegalised. Thus, any Igbo person that comes out and openly supports Biafra, runs the risk of persecution. That's what's keeping Nigeria together, not this fairytale that Igbo people actually want to remain in Nigeria.

No one cares about Nigeria, no one cares about the territorial integrity of Nigeria. The only thing Nigerians care about is their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of their people (ethnic group). Igbo people leaving Nigeria, would adversely affect everyone, Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani alike, whether we leave with the oil or not. That's why IPOB is unable to garner support from any of these groups.

Now, if Northern Nigeria wanted to leave Nigeria, it could do so, within a matter of months. Because, unlike with Biafra, most Nigerians feel they would be better off without the Northern region.

The support for IPOB/Biafra is less than you guys think, IPOB has a mouthpiece (Radio Biafra) and of course they don't fail at insulting if you disagree, the rhetorics is changing now because more Igbos are getting vocal and assertive about their disdain for IPOB.

@ the bolded, they needed to go begging the northern youths because they realized that those pushing the entire Igbo race into jeopardy have nothing to their names and have nothing to lose unlike them.
At a point Kanu was asked about the threat to the Igbos in the north and all he could say was that they should all return back to the East, just imagine that. Igbos in the north had to go begging for their lives and properties biko.

No Igbo man who doesn't support Biafra. Either believe it or don't, but that is the basic truth. Biafra is in every Igbo man's blood. Forget about pretenders, they just want to collect their national cake. When the chips are down, you would be shocked.

A lie told a thousand times, is still just a lie.

If what you were saying had any semblance of truth to it, then you wouldn't need to say it. As it would be patently obvious.

The mere fact that Igbo people are at risk of losing their lives and property in their own country, tells you all you need to know. An Igbo man is safer investing in Gabon, than he is in parts of his own country - and you're here trying to present this flawed argument that we prefer Nigeria over our own sovereignty.

Until IPOB drops the very idea of Biafra with the tower of Babel called SS minorities, until IPOB becomes truly Igbo and look out for Igbo interests at all costs, until IPOB stop drinking the urine from minorities and eating their faeces, until IPOB stops acting without tact, until IPOB stops disgracing Ndiigbo, they will never have my support and that of millions of other Igbos like myself.

Most Igbos support Biafra, but most have discovered that IPOB lack the nous to take us closer to that, let alone achieving it and most of us are totally against a Biafra that will not be totally and 100% Igbo speaking republic with no minorities in it.
IPOB mistake Igbo support for Biafra for support for IPOB, but the both are not mutually exclusive. Support for Biafra does not and will never translate to support for IPOB.

Things IPOB can do to regain the trust of Igbos.

1. Make Biafra a strictly Igbo affair and remove the minorities in your midst you are pampering even when you know their people back home are anti Biafra.
Bluejack Russel, Asari Dokubo, etc. You have seen how it ended.
The rest of Ndiigbo will not be a party to your naivety. You can't claim to want to give us Biafra when you can't even see under your nose.

Put your house in order. Expel the moles and paid agent minorities in your midst. Stop trying to sell the lie of heterogeneous Biafra. You can't live in the lie for long. The whole world knows IPOB is an Igbo organization. Own it and live up-to it. Take the responsibility of fighting for and protecting for Igbo interests not just in future Biafra, but starting from Nigeria. Let the charity start from home, especially Abia political sphere.

2. Learn to decline advice or take advice without use of expletives. You will never make us to obey you or follow your dictates by insults. You are Igbos and should know that the Igbo will by default disobey and refuse to follow orders if he senses you are trying to use force of any kind of coercion on him. We don't do SUPREME leader things. A leader in Igboland is never SUPREME, he is at best a LISTENER, a titular head who MUST listen to the people and not DICTATE to the people.

Learn to lead by convictions. Articulate you points and actions, listen to advice, remember no one appointed Nnamdi Kanu or you to speak on behalf of Ndiigbo, so if you think you can speak for us or set agenda for us without our input, corrections and adjustments, then you are mistaken and headed for extinction.
You MUST listen to Ndiigbo and be seen to be receptive to advice, corrections and even rejections, in amicable way.
Ire oma ka Ejuna ji aga n'ogwu.

Your deepest thoughts are like a scratch to my own thinking.
Now listen. You MUST leave the minorities alone. Stop cowering before them, stop making Ndiigbo object of ridicule and denigration from the tower of babel, stop your senseless hero complex.
You must mind your business. And your business MUST be Igboland.

Until you learn to get this basics right. You will remain senseless, stupid and useless even to yourselves, and you will never get the support of sensible Igbos.

If you like, don't listen, continue mistaking the Igbo support for Biafra (A strictly Igbo republic without the babel) for support for your folly.

Your ratings keep going down daily in Igboland.
2 years ago I was a supporter of IPOB, now I'm not, and as the days go by, more and more Igbos are turning against you. A day will come when Igboland will no longer be conducive for you to operate, since you have proven to be insufferable and resistant to growing a brain.

Tell us when you conducted a poll among Igbos in the SE if they want a referendum, also tell us when you conducted same in the SS. Why trying to force it down the SE and SS, I don't use gutter language like "betting with your life", that is more appropriate with Kanu, IPOB and supporters.
