A source close to the Obaseki family in Benin City has faulted the claim by a certain Victor and Osaro Obaseki claiming to have endorsed Ize Iyamu the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the upcoming September 19 Elections.

The source while admitting that the duo are members of the family and speak for themselves but however do not have the authority to speak on behalf of the family.

The source however warned family member's not to do anything that is capable of dragging the family name in mud. the Obaseki family have always worked so hard to preserve the family over the years without blemishes.

Politics will always come and go and the family will always remain.

The family heads that makes up the Obaseki family are currently meeting to address this issue in other to ensure they all speak in one voice.

Without thinking twice.. we know it's false na.. how can a family endorse a political enemy. Wetin them gain ? When the Ize Iyamu family is just as big as the Obaseki.. make him go collect endorsement from him family.
