Everyone in this government is operating as if there's no laws in this country any longer. How dare the IG embark on building such important institution without the authorization from the senate if not that he knows there will be no consequences for such actions? That's exactly why NDDC executives had the temerity to steal billions of naira during global lockdown & claimed the funds were disbursed for frivolous travels & conventions overseas. Buhari sold a dummy to Nigerians & we foolishly bought it. This isn't fair to Nigerians. Buhari pls resign or nature pls do Nigeria a huge service killing all these old politicians that hv brought this country to her knees starting with Buhari. Nigeria will be better of without them. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

oshozondii: When you see police officers harassing people for money, sometimes its not their fault. How did the IGP expect them to be raising 500k monthly? Did he expect them to be donating it from their pockets? Or are they running some kind of profit yielding business with funds belonging to the police force? or what other ways did he expect them to generate the funds if not through illegal means? 2 Likes 1 Share |

That's the trend now. Chief of Army staff sited Army university in his home town. Chief of airstaff did the same. Remain Chief of Naval staff. So the IG is simply following the trend. What we have are Selfish S.O.Bs as leaders. 3 Likes |

"My IGP is lean. It means he is working hard" President Buhari Truly, the IGP is hard working, trying hard to establish unapproved training schools. But I guess that's good in a way if he is forcing some officers to donate. They are all fat from corruption and if he is demanding from them to build an edifice as his own legacy, why should I care? It is time police started paying back to the society from their corruption money. All state command should build a standard hospital every year and the police men and officers in that state should be forced to cough out the money. It is possible 2 Likes |

That's where the money policemen extorted from you on thr highway ended. Every DPO, DCO, MPC, AC, CP, DIG remits money to the top- the I.G's office. So, when the I.G claims he is not aware that his officer are extorting money from the general public, he is telling a huge lie. If you remove these criminal police officers from our highways, transport fare of people and goods will drop drastically, because the drivers, motorists and transport companies factor in the illegal extortion fee they give to the police into your transport fare. The police is not a revenue generating body. |
