"Steer clear of this property to avert 'had I known,' " embattled house owner tells whoever cares to listen as he makes public notice to all buyers asking them to keep off from number 33 Peter Okoye street, Uwani, Enugu State, saying it is not for sale. 

Reports have it that the house was sold by one Mr. Friday Nwafor in 2015 to Mr Olisaemeka Osifo.

Acording to Olisaemeka Osifo:
"I bought the house from Mr Friday Nwafor on 15th of...2015. There are two buildings in the compound; after I purchased the house, the man asked me to do a sub-division after he had given me some documents to sign, which I signed. He then claimed that government's land is not suitable for sub-division. He held my money, then I had to push hard. He took me to court to send me out of my property, we went to court, I won. We went to appeal court 3 times and I won the case against him on the 20th of last month. Now, he wants to sell the house and run. I want caution placed on the property so that anyone trying to purchase it will know that it's at his or her own risk."

Commenting further he said: "The case is in court; anybody that buys it, it is at his own risk. Mr Friday Nwafor is a criminal, and dealing with him is very risky."

He cautioned the general public to beware of the dubious sale by his opponent who is determined to sell the house and abscond with the buyer's money. In his words: 

"Beware of being scammed by Mr Friday. This is an important notice. It will be at your own peril if you buy this property. I have been notified that he is going around looking for a buyer at all cost."

He urged whoever comes across this information to circulate it to their family and friends in order keep them alert and safe from being duped. "Please share so your family and friends will not fall victims," he said.
