Good evening everyone am here to admonish us never to stop believing in yourself now remember the Bible verse that says I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Who told you you can't be successful the only limitation to your Greatness is you. The Bible may us to understand in Proverbs 22:29, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” The verse shows us that in whatever we engage ourselves in we should be diligent in it, don't be discouraged, always try to impress yourself not others cause a day will come when they won't be there with you and you'll start thinking why did I care about what they did? But hey remember people's opinions about you don't count. The Bible says Faith without work is dead. I just want to encourage you to keep up the good work you'll be rewarded someday don't be discouraged. Life isn't fare but their a turnaround table that's going to turn in your favour soon, so my dear brothers and sisters keep working. At times you may be feeling lowly but remember this Bible verse which says I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Say this after me:
I will succeed am not a failure.
Where others fail I'll succeed.
I'll keep on learning and not give up.
I'll keep up the Good work.
My Heavenly father didn't fail in his ministry so why should i.

A belief in self is very very anti-Christ, since Jesus Christ calls those who wish to become His to, that's right, die to self!

1. Be prepared to abandon parents, brother, sister, children, spouse, in-laws, e.t.c.
2. Abandon all that you know/believe, have, and all that you are
3. Bear your own burden (not someone else's cross- not even your family's or children's)

Matthew 10 vs 34-39
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
34. “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace. I came to bring trouble.[h]
35. I have come to make this happen:
‘A son will turn against his father.
A daughter will turn against her mother.
A daughter-in-law will turn against her mother-in-law.
36. Even members of your own family will be your enemies.’
37. “Those who love their father or mother more than they love me are not worthy of me. And those who love their son or daughter more than they love me are not worthy of me.
38. Those who will not accept the cross that is given to them when they follow me are not worthy of me.
39. Those who try to keep the life they have will lose it. But those who give up their life for me will find true life.
4. Deny yourself and take up only your cross if you want to follow Him
Matthew 16 vs 24-27
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
24. Then Jesus said to his followers, “If any of you want to be my follower, you must stop thinking about yourself and what you want. You must be willing to carry the cross that is given to you for following me.
25. Any of you who try to save the life you have will lose it. But you who give up your life for me will find true life.
26. It is worth nothing for you to have the whole world if you yourself are lost. You could never pay enough to buy back your life.
27. The Son of Man will come again with his Father’s glory and with his angels. And he will reward everyone for what they have done.

His disciples did it, and the Christians in the books of Acts, yes, including the Ananias and Saphiras were called on to do the same.... Let go of self and all defining attributes...

Matthew 19 vs 26-30 (ESV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
26. Jesus looked at them and said, “This is something that people cannot do. But God can do anything.”
27. Peter said to him, “We left everything we had and followed you. So what will we have?”
28. Jesus said to them, “When the time of the new world comes, the Son of Man will sit on his great and glorious throne. And I can promise that you who followed me will sit on twelve thrones, and you will judge the twelve tribes of Israel.
29. Everyone who has left houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children, or farms to follow me will get much more than they left. And they will have eternal life.
30. Many people who are first now will be last in the future. And many who are last now will be first in the future.
In Acts, the new followers, gave up their possessions, some sold all they could or had and brought it to be used for everyone

Acts 4 vs 32-37 (ERV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
32. The whole group of believers was united in their thinking and in what they wanted. None of them said that the things they had were their own. Instead, they shared everything.
33. With great power the apostles were making it known to everyone that the Lord Jesus was raised from death. And God blessed all the believers very much.
34. None of them could say they needed anything. Everyone who owned fields or houses sold them. They brought the money they got
35. and gave it to the apostles. Then everyone was given whatever they needed.
36. One of the believers was named Joseph. The apostles called him Barnabas, a name that means “one who encourages others.” He was a Levite born in Cyprus.
37. Joseph sold a field he owned. He brought the money and gave it to the apostles.

Yes o.....

We should never stop believing in ourselves because God never stops believing in us... even when we fail or disobey Him.

God is LOVE, and love believes all things and is long-suffering.

This is just a totally warped and coloured version of God.

God doesn't believe in us; he doesn't need us.

He loves us and will hold us accountable for our actions.

“Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:7

The Bible says the above about love: Love has the following qualities and God is love. Of course God believes in man, but man often dissapoints God; man often breaks God's heart.

If God didn't believe in man, why did He create Him in the first place?

If God didn't believe in man, why did He create Him in the first place?

Who is man that thou art mindful of him, and the son of man that thou dost care for him?
— Psalm 8 vs 4.

And the passage you quoted you are taking out of context. Paul is telling the brethren at Corinth to earnestly desire love, which is the greatest gift of God, than other gifts.
Read the whole passage, he was not qualifying God's love.

God believes in sinful, worthless, pitiful, vile and sinful men, really?

What have you done or will you do for God to love or believe or hope in you?

Isaiah tells us our works are like filthy rags before God.

Isaiah 64 vs 6.

Whether you love or not; sin or not, how does it move or change God?

Job 35:5-8

Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?

Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
