El Elohe Yahshrael!

Luke 11:1-4 One day Yahushua was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

2 He said to them, “When you pray, say:

“‘Father, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.

Studying the Scriptures of Our Father in heaven and praying to him everyday are two of the three essential parts or aspects of our righteous walk.

The third and most important part or aspect of our righteous walk is obedience to the Instruction of our Father in heaven, Daddy in the sky.

The aspects of the righteous walk - studying the Scriptures and prayer and obedience to the Commandments of the Father in heaven - highlighted above, energize us and keep us filled with the Power and Strength of Father in heaven, YAHVEH El Shaddai.

Studying the Scriptures, praying to the Father and obeying his Commandments are related to one another. Each aspect depends on and strengthens the other two.

Luke 11:9-10 9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

One must be eligible in order to benefit from the promises mentioned in the Scripture immediately above.
What puts one on the platform of eligibility is primarily obedience to the Father in heaven.

Let no one deceive you.

Let this suffice for now.

El Elohe Yahshrael! Hallelu Yah!

According to Jesus Christ Himself, only those who accept Him will have access to eternal life, meaning that those who do not accept him i.e. the unbelievers, do not have eternal life and hence will never have eternity either in Heaven or in Hell. This lines up with what is said in John 3 vs 16 that so many like to quote, those who do not accept Jesus Christ will simply die (their souls die too since after the fall of man, it was rendered mortal by God when He declared that man would go back to dust from whence He came). God repeated this message severally in the Bible, one such place being Ezekiel 18 where He again declares that the soul that sins must die (from even among His own Israel).

Jesus Christ came with the promise of Eternal life to those who will accept Him, leaving those who do not accept Him with the old decree of death and a return back to dust from whence they came.
Now for those who accept Jesus Christ, the ones who choose to live in disobedience of the law that is Jesus Christ, are the eternal souls that Jesus Christ stated will end up eternally punished in fire. These are the goats referred to in Matthew 25 vs 31-46. Only the sheep among them get to enter the kingdom of Heaven.

What am I trying to say here? It is probably best for you to die an unbeliever than to accept Jesus Christ and still end up in Hell when all is said and done. The unbelievers get to live out their life span on the planet and are no more. The one who accepts Jesus Christ but refuses to obey Him (that which He explicitly commands those who believe in Him to) might as well be hanging an eternal noose around his/her neck for the same of claiming 'eligibility'.

Well, the word of God will only make sense to those who are receptive, right? The Pharisees were also known as believers in God. They were the religious masters of the day and had for themselves and everyone else, all things God figured out down to the last detail. But when the very Word of God, Jesus Christ, showed up before them, they could not recognize Him and nothing He said made sense to them. grin

El Elohe Yahshrael!

Matt 8:28-34 When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 'What do you want with us, Son of Elohim?' they shouted. 'Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?' Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. The demons begged Yahushua, 'If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.' He said to them, 'Go!' So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. Then the whole town went out to meet Yahushua. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region. (Mark 5:1-17; Luke 8:26-37.)

John 4:27-30 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking to a woman. But no one asked, 'What do you want?' or 'Why are you talking with her?' Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 'Come, see a man who told me everything I've ever done. Could this be the Messiah?' They came out of the town and made their way towards him. 39-42 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony, 'He told me everything I've ever done.' So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers. They said to the woman, 'We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Saviour of the world.

There is so much a discerning heart can pick from the two events above. I leave it to the reader who is interested to look to the Father in heaven for that.

But the Scriptures directly below give an idea of the difference between the people of Gadarenes and the people of Sychar as portrayed by the Scriptures above.

Prov 29:27 The righteous detest the dishonest; the wicked detest the upright.

John 3:19-21 This is the verdict: light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of YHVH.

If Yahushua the Messiah himself, in all his splendour and everything he stands for, walked the surface of the earth today, many of those who claim to believe in him - many of those who talk about him from the pulpit and on the road - would drive him out of their homes, their communities, their companies, etc.

If Yahushua the Messiah, in the flesh, walked the surface of the earth today, many of those who call themselves his followers and worshippers would be the very ones who would persecute him and try to kill him.

If Yahushua the Messiah, in his truth and righteousness, walked the surface of the earth today, so many of those who claim he is their master and saviour would utterly reject him.

Yahushua the Messiah is the embodiment of the Commandments of YHVH of Hosts. Deut 8:3; Prov 8:22-36; John 1:1-5; John 6:25-59; 1 John 1:1-4.

Yahushua the Messiah is the Righteousness of YHVH Almighty. Prov 8:22-36; Jer 23:5-6.

Yahushua the Messiah is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Prov 8:22-36; John 14:6.

Yahushua the Messiah is the Salvation of YHVH, our Father. Luke 1:68-75; 2:30-32 & 3:4-6.

Yahushua the Messiah is the Wisdom of YHVH of Hosts. Prov 8:22-36; Isa 9:6-7; Jer 8:9.

Yahushua the Messiah is the Word of YHVH Almighty, the Creator of the ends of the earth, in whom we live, move and have our being. Deut 8:3; Prov 8:22-36; Jer 8:9; John 1:1-5; 1 John 1:1-4; Rev 19:13.

John 6:54-56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live for ever.

Was Yahushua the Messiah, our Master and Saviour, advocating cannibalism? SURELY NOT!

Job 28:28 And he said to the human race, 'The fear of YHVH - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.'

Psalm 91:14-16 'Because he loves me,' says YHVH, 'I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.'

Prov 1:7 The fear of YHVH is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.

John 14:23 Yahushua replied, 'Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.'

John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

John 15:10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love.

1 John 3:21-24 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before YHVH and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Yahushua the Messiah, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who keeps YHVH's commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: we know it by the Spirit he gave us.

There is no shred of ambiguity there.

Everything in the set-apart Scriptures - from Genesis to Revelation - is about the Word of YHVH Almighty, Yahushua the Messiah, and his great and awesome Name, which he has given to his begotten Son, Yahushua the Messiah. John 5:39-40; John 17:12.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of YHVH is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

Prov 1:7 The fear of YHVH is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Eccl 12:13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear Elohim and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.

1 John 2: 3-6 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, 'I know him,' but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for YHVH is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: whoever claims to live in him must live as Yahushua did.

Sublime!

Jer 8:9 The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have REJECTED the WORD of YHVH, WHAT KIND OF WISDOM DO THEY HAVE? (Emphasis mine).

I wonder!
