Networking

Networking is getting to know people and knowing the people they know. And as the circle of people you know gets bigger, the higher your chances of getting a job offer.

Anybody can offer you a job. The more people you know, the more expectant you become. But if you know zero persons, you will be depressed because your hope of job offers will be limited.

Recruitment specialists have made it know that networking is the best way to land a great job. This is because most small and medium companies don’t often advertise jobs. They prefer to save money by telling their people they need someone. And a qualified candidate is referred.

Networking is easy. First identify the people you know, then find the people they know, and get to know the people they know. And it never ends. You continue to know people every day. You continue to build your network every time. Get their contact details. Get their social media links. And let them know you want a job. And you will reap a lot of benefits from them including job offers.

The network of people you know can help you look for a job, they can refer you and inform you of jobs available in their domains, and you won’t be jobless for long.
