Xiaomi just launched the Redmi 9A in Nigeria and other African Countries. Some people might still see the Redmi 9A as a downgrade from the previous Redmi 8A because there is no convenient USB type C, no 18W Fast charge support, no gorilla glass protection, a reduced 5MP Selfie Camera with a smaller aperture, a 13MP rear camera with also a smaller aperture, no wireless FM Radio and finally no snapdragon processor. But despite all these downgrades, the Redmi 9A still has some valuable upgrades like its bigger display size, its slightly better Processor, Bluetooth 5.0 and its Android 10 software with the latest MIUI 12 which has lots of exciting customizations and the Redmi 9A is $10 cheaper than the Redmi 8A.
