Edo2020: Two critical areas that the Obaseki administration has contradicted itself in the past 4 years are job creation and the development of the Education Sector. Instead of creating the 200,000 jobs, he promised Edo people they disengaged and sent parking those who were already gainfully employed Almost all state-owned institutions of higher learning in the state have been shut down for the past three years in the guise of renovations and upgrade, thereby disengaging the staff (academic and non-academic staff) and leaving the students idle to further aggravate the already exacerbated massive unemployment crisis in the state and Nigeria at large.

Some of the schools that have been shut down by the Obaseki administration using upgrade and refurbishment as an excuse are *College of Education, Ekiadolor *Edo State College of Agriculture, Iguorhiaki *Edo State College of Agriculture, Fishery Department (Agenebode Campus) *Edo State College of Agriculture, Forestry Department (Uromi Campus) *Edo State College of Agriculture, Abudu Campus, Edo State School of Nursing, Benin City *Michael Imoudu College of Physical Health Education, Afuze, etcetera.

The time is here again, for us to take our collective destiny in our hands as a people to move forward our dear state and the man to entrust the mantle of leadership on is Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
