"We Will Not Participate In Forthcoming Local Government Elections" - APC



The All Progressive Congress, APC, Ebonyi State Chapter, has declared that its members will not participate "in the forthcoming charade Ebonyi State Government calls Local Government Elections."


A statement made available to IGBERE TV by Nwoba Chika Nwoba, APC publicity Secretary in Ebonyi State said it'll be tantamount to foolhardiness telling its members to" invest their hard-earned resources in such an exercise whose contrivance was rooted in the ideals of unbridled translucency, accretional mercantilism and invidious malfeasance. "


He further urge the Peoples Democratic Party in Ebonyi State to creep back into their cocoons and stop deceiving the public with campaigns for council polls.

The statement reads,


"Ebonyi APC will not participate in the forthcoming charade Ebonyi State Government calls Local Government Elections. We all know what council polls look like in Ebonyi State under the present administration which detests opposition like a disease."

"It'll be tantamount to foolhardiness telling our members to invest their hard-earned resources in such an exercise whose contrivance was rooted in the ideals of unbridled translucency, accretional mercantilism and invidious malfeasance."

"We owe our teeming members the responsibility of protecting them from avoidable losses, moreover in this case it is common knowledge that council elections in Ebonyi State under David Umahi are a one-man show."

"We urge the PDP in Ebonyi State to creep back into their cocoons and stop deceiving the public with campaigns for council polls. It'll amount to them scoring their own goals embarking on such selfsame exercise."

"We urge our members to be calm as the National Assembly reviews the issue and determines the future of local government administration and suffrage in Nigeria. We reviewed the planning of the exercise in Ebonyi State by the EBSIEC and realized that its outcome had been predetermined before conception."

Bye bye ...See how APC is complaining as though we conduct credible LG elections accross Nigeria including in APC controlled states. Since u ain't participating, the ballot papers will be shorter in length. It's not even as though ur party does posses genius ideas to offer the people aside from looting.
