The WAEC Examination is here and many are preparing for the exams, to ensure their success in the examination. Naturally, a serious student should be over prepared by now for the examination; and be ready for anything.

However, as parents we are watchers of our children; and should be mindful of their state of mind for the examination. Most parents ignore certain signs of unseriousness with their children; and go on to blame demons and evil spirits for their failure.


In this article, I will outline 10 obvious signs your child may fail the examinations. We are not praying for their failure, but it is good we are wise and diligent.

1) Lack of aspiration:
Before anything is achieved, it is first concieved in the heart. If your child has no goal or aspiration for this exams, then something is wrong. Try sitting them down to enquire their expected results from the exam, and the efforts they are making to get it. It is a good test of their seriousness for the exams.

2) Exhibiting laziness at such a time:

There are times you can enjoy pleasures, but not this time. Any symptom of laziness with your children is a sign of failure; especially in this period, please tackle it immediately.
