Casinos, Soft Play Centres And Theatres Reopen As More Restrictions Ease by jumia1: 1:43pm On Aug 15, 2020
Indoor theatres, ice rinks and soft play centres are back to work today as lockdown restrictions continue to ease across the state. From Saturday, some businesses and social gatherings that have been closed or not permitted since March are able to resume, as well as salons being able to carry out more services such as facials and face waxings and threadings. However, the latest lockdown relaxations do not apply in the ‘specific areas where local restrictions are in place

‘The nation’s hard work to keep the virus under control means we can now make further careful progress on recovery with allowing audiences back for indoor performances, fans back at sports events and the reopening of more Covid-19 secure leisure businesses.’

This new development means that wedding receptions can now go forward. Though people have been able to hold marriage ceremonies of up to 30 people since July 4, newlyweds haven’t been able to celebrate with loved ones with a traditional after party.

From today, receptions can now take place of up to 30 people in the form of a ‘sit-down meal’ – without dancing, to decrease the chances of people coming into unnecessarily close contact. Staff members at entertainment venues such as casinos wear PPE, with plastic barriers in place.
