Someone would be brought in? Doesn’t necessarily mean a defender tho, might be a midfielder or a striker depending on your formation
Your first sub should be the one taking the place of Saiss
If you are using a 3 man defense and your first sub is a midfielder/striker, then your first sub would be jumped to the very first defender on your sub because 3 defenders is the minimum you can have in a formation
However if you are using a 4 or 5 man defense and your first sub is a midfielder/striker then either of the midfielder/striker would be replacing Saiss which would then utter your initial formation that you set for the game week

That was because Fantasy listed Lescalles as unavailable so I had to use my only transfer slot to replace him with Walkers Peters

I debated between Walkers Peters and Verstegaard and went for the full back over the Center Back

If i didn't make any transfers this GW, I would have been 6 points better and with two FTs. Son must hsul before I sell him o.
