Why not quote the entire article?

Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has said his government has traced some violent, aggrieved Fulani to their countries and paid them to stop the killings of Southern Kaduna natives and the destruction of their communities saying that the renewed violence is carried out by bandits.

El-Rufai made this known while fielding questions from some select Journalists in his office in Kaduna.

He said: “For southern Kaduna, we didn’t understand what was going on and we decided to set up a committee under Gen. Martin Luther Agwai (rtd) to find out what was going on there. What was established was that the root of the problem has a history starting from the 2011 post election violence.

“Fulani herdsmen from across Africa bring their cattle down towards Middle Belt and Southern Nigeria. The moment the rains starts around March, April, they start moving them up to go back to their various communities and countries.

“Unfortunately, it was when they were moving up with their cattle across Southern Kaduna that the elections of 2011 took place and the crisis trapped some of them.

“Some of them were from Niger, Cameroon, Chad, Mali and Senegal. Fulanis are in 14 African countries and they traverse this country with the cattle.

“So many of these people were killed, cattle lost and they organised themselves and came back to revenge.

Story.
The forces didn't come 1,2,3 days or one week after the the killing started. They are coming now when the bandits have killed so much. And they announced their arrival so that those they have supposedly come to fight can hide and come back weeks later.
After all, the security and the bandits are two sides of the same coin.

This country ehn!
So you had to inform the public and the killers about the deployment of the special forces?
What's wrong with deploying them secretly so they can quietly round up the killers without preinforming them?
You want to strike then you first start by informing your enemy(ies) so they can retreat and go into hiding.
They don't want to round up the killers, they just want them to retreat, rest and come back after the special forces must have left. After sometime they will say they have restored peace and then will go and their brothers will come back to work.

Sire can u explain further 'same approach'.

Same brute force they are going for. You don't use force to fight ideology.

So what will you suggest will work, diplomacy (some folks sees it as a weak tool to settle dispute).

like George Washington said - if you want peace, prepare for war.

After the bombshell from Mailafia, they are now scampering to save face so the Nigerians will stop digging further deep.

This people like to play pim pom with our brain.

But we are watching with the eyes of an eagle.

Most Nigerians are busy arguing with each other. They can't see what I am seeing. There are foreign collaborators funding all these attacks. What they do is to keep a country with great potential but with internal ethnic-driven political issues, in a state of perpetual war and self implosion. Same thing that is happening in Congo, while western powers have free access to the natural resources. I believe there is some very important resource in northern Nigeria they want free access to. Most Nigerians are too feeble minded to understand what's going. Through satellite they already mapped locations of any resources around the world. Their approach is that without a central government, access to such resources is easier and can be negotiated. The so called first world you clamour for are among your greatest enemies. Most Africans do not know they have been in a state of war for a long time. They think wars only have to do with guns and bombs. First, there are soft wars to win your minds to make you mentally redundant (e.g. religions and entertainment like BBNaija); then economic wars waged through multinational donors like IMF & World Bank. Sadly, China is now also on the scene. Go on Youtube to watch "economic hitman". Then, the wars to ensure and minimize threats to continous supply of resources to the West from Africa. This include population control (US Agenda 200; targeted sterilization through vaccines as done in Kenya or disease infection as done in South Africa).

Sadly most African leaders are accomplices in the plans to exterminate their own people, which is made worse by a largely comatose and docile population that has already fell flat on their faces from their susceptibility to the "soft" wars.

May God bless you and may we have more Africans like you that can see the big picture clearly.

It is good that at long last, at least "something" is being done to the insecurity situation in Southern Kaduna. They have to be called "Special Forces" if not people will ask questions why the same military kept quiet all these while and allowed the killing to go on?

The herdsmen sympathizers amongst them who'd, of course, be in the majority, as usual, will be finishing off any of the Southern Kaduna escapees/survivors who manage to evade the marauding un-uniformed killers.

It can never be balanced or impartial so long as their sponsors and commanders are still the ones in power and calling the shots.
people like you can never be pleased. I am from southern kaduna and we really appreciate the government effort to bring peace to our area.

You are not from Southern Kaduna you wouldn't have been alive to be typing this trash.

If you are indeed from Southern Kaduna, shame on you and your likes for allowing rag tag herdsmen butcher your parents and children without lifting a finger and waiting for a government who doesn't care about you to send help.

You cowards.
They are not done with you guys yet.

the same way they rape and killed your women in Enugu, Ebonyi and Delta. You are living in your village typing rubbish base on Media report.
We have being living together with fulani since the days of our great, great, great grandfathers,we have been having issues and we will settle it like brothers. Now politicians and ipob want to instigate hate among us. We will still settle this one and move on.
The number one plan of Ipob is to cause hatred among brothers in the middle belt using religion as their catalyst.
I have told my people that they should not be decieved by the hypocracy of the igbo man who pretend to be a brother in Christ but in actual facts igbos see us as hausa fulani Muslim no matter how we try to educate them that we are not Muslims neither are we hausa fulani.
