Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has opined that his side was better than Sevilla despite a 2-1 defeat in the Europa League encounter.

Manchester United took the lead in the 9th minutes via a Bruno Fernandes penalty but failed to hold on to the lead as goals from Suso and substitute Luuk gave Sevilla a deserved win over the Red Devils.

The England international defender described Sevilla as the second-best team in the encounter as they failed to create as many chances as the Premier League side. He also admitted that his teammates had more chances and were wasteful at the same time.
