Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed to a Spanish radio station that Barcelona boss Quique Setien will be sacked, with Lionel Messi reportedly ready to force through a transfer away this summer.

Barca were humiliated and embarrassed on Friday night as they suffered an 8-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich to exit the Champions League.



It was also the worst defeat of Messi’s illustrious career and images after the game showed how the loss was playing on his mind.


The Argentina international had reportedly already been considering his future after a disappointing domestic campaign.

But Barcelona could have a bigger problem on their hands with Messi reportedly telling the club hierarchy that he wants to leave this summer.

The 33-year-old has just one year left on his contract and had been expected to sign an extension.

But Esporte Interativo broke the news on Sunday night that the Barcelona talisman had demanded an immediate exit from the club.

His current buyout clause sits at an eye-watering £635million.

Because Ronaldo is never the best in any of the teams you mentioned. Must I do the same thing to get results exactly you do yours.

You forget to mention the time Argentina could not win a match for nine months when Messi quit and he had to come back before they won.

You forget to realise that Messi is not helped the same way Ronaldo was helped when it matter most. Eder in 2016 and Portugal without Ronaldo are complete just as it showed in Uefa Èuro League where he joined them at the semifinal.

Don't be stupid, Messi carries teams for head more than Ronaldo.

For you to say that Ronaldo never speculated quit, you lied. He was linked to PSG and Barcelona and people are quick to debunk it a a mere speculation but you are quick to believe that Messi is truly leaving because your comment showed that you are bitter about him.
