I see a trend these days where wives use their husband's first name as their surname. Pls, is it right?

Or, is their any effect of using husband's first name instead of his last name.


For example, Miss Esther Job is married to Mr Adam Isaac. Can Esther Job become Mrs Esther Adam or Mrs Esther Isaac? Or are they both acceptable?

It's the husbands that usually decides that. Ideally it should be the husband's last name.

I have the same issue as well But I still prefer my wife to use by first name.

Your husband's last name is better.
