How else do you want him to be assertive?

By threatening fire and brimstone.?

Even if he cannot do that, he needs to be able to reflect the pulse of the people he represents. His body language is an issue for me.

You see stories of Nigerians being attacked and he's in interviews, smiling, and using all sorts of soft-landing words to relate the issue. It just screams weakness and indifference.
