It's as. Recorded class and you have to answer questions both oral and written. It's quite embedded and interesting especially for French. They simplified language for you. Although I have an open mind when it comes to language learning. English is quite boring for me.
Nicey..

Let me see if I can get a scholarship.
Thanks

You too can add some more resources for me please

Download Busuu, Memrise, Mondly, Babbel, German vocabulary, German grammar task, and DW application (you will find these applications on Google Play Store or Apple Store)

Also, search for learn German with Jenny (otherwise known as lingoni), learn German with Anja, easy German and learn German in 3 minutes episodes on youtube.

Follow these handles on twitter

To improve your Deutsche through listening by downloading a music app that packs unbelievable features, thanks to Klexycole who discovered the application.

How to operate the application is as follows

The name is BOOM (not boomplay please) and it's available on Playstore. The app comes with insane music equalizer, as well as complete 3D surround sound to help improve your audio output (headsets bring best result).

Another highlight of this audio app is the Online Radio feature. You can literally listen to radio stations from major countries of the World, with which Germany isn't an exception.

Just browse the German radio stations and listen away! You can choose the category you want, from sport to fashion, to entertainment and education, just to mention!

While some people have been learning through this route, some others don't know about it at all. So, it's a very good way to learn the language. You get familiar with the tonality, speech, e.t.c.

Lastly, practice using goethe Zertifikat deutsch üben once you have improved in German language. The drop box link contains übungen for A1 down to C2 level in each aspect.. Talk of Wortschatz, Lesen, Schreiben, Grammatik und Tipps, you will find it there.

Same here. It's been interesting. I just love to learn new languages.. I enrolled for Spanish ,French and Arabic.

I'll advise you to learn one at a time. If you reach a high level in one then you can start learning another language.

French and Spanish are both romance languages and you will get confused easily if learning both at the same time.

One at a time

True though because I was so confused and lost it. It was the money for me. I wanted to use one stone to kill 3 birds but mehn Arabic was worse. I am not relenting especially with French. I have improved greatly. I will just keep at it because English has become boring to me.
Thanks

I always wanted to learn Spanish but till today I don't speak more than a few words of Spanish. I have however learnt to speak German. I remember back in 2004 when I first arrived Nurnberg I couldn't understand why they didn't speak English. Its funny how I somehow thought that all white people should be able to speak and understand English.

At first I didn't want to learn the language but I soon figured out that If I didn't want to give up my freedom of being able to speak for myself and represent myself I needed to learn the language. People often ask how long it took me to learn German, It wasn't until 2010 when I was watching an English movie where someone suddenly spoke German and I understood everything that I realized that I could totally comprehend the language.

What worked for me ? I listened a lot at the beginning, I spent my time mostly with German speakers. I did 3 Language courses - the first for 4 months, and the other two for a month each. From 2011 till date my work language is German.

I am still far from perfect but I enjoy connecting with other German speakers at home and abroad.

Hahaha... I'm sorry but the way you said this got me laughing out.

You aren't exactly forgetting what you learned. It just hasn't stuck yet. The only way forward is to continue. Consistency is the secret. Make the language an integral part of your life as much as possible. Listen to the audio while cooking, in a public transport, eating, etc. It will begin to sound "normal" and not foreign anymore. A little progress will inspire you to put in more efforts.

Best of luck!

안녕하세요 여러분...

I've been learning Korean for a while now... It's freaking hard as their grammar rules as so far away from English not to mention things like conjugation, politeness levels, personal pronouns etc are also far removed from English.
Would love to improve my Spanish and learn German...

I learnt a foreign language by paying money for it. Guys, paying for a course gives you a reason to take it seriously than studying free materials. Those free materials should come in handy when you want to do your personal study but Learning with a tutor or school, teaches with a standard that one ought to follow and hence makes the journey less stressful for you. Close eye and try it. You'd be glad.

I want to learn African languages like Kiswahili which is widely spoken in East Africa. I am not interested in European languages. How many white people do you know or see making an effort to learn African languages?

Language learning is not set in stone and thrown only to a portion of the world. Do research before always generalizing. Caucasians and non- Africans do learn our languages. Go on Italki and Hinative and see them interested in Yoruba, Hausa, Kiswahili and others. I remember some years ago, a university from France or so sponsored a 4 year course for their staff to learn Yoruba at UI. They went on to open a department in that University.
It's no one's fault that we were thrown the short end of the stick as regards language exportation.

Thanks for the update, I must confess that their approach makes learning a language easy and entertaining, at least for now. I'm surprised at how much French I have picked up after the first lesson.
