Is This A Glo Scam? by harakiri(m): 10:59am On Feb 18, 2011
Hello all,

I recieved a text from "glo", "customer care (121), "NTA" and "Etbank" that i have won N1 million and i should send N3000 recharge card to "activate" my winning code and another 3.5% "VAT" (N35,000) to collect my winnings. I have never heard of anyone paying "VAT" to collect winnings and i have very funny feelings about the whole thing. What trips me the most is that i actually got an SMS from Glo's customer care (121) of the winnings but when i checked the messaging center number (+46731234200), they are all from the same source.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Glo never asks you to send money to activate ur winnings. none of the telecomm or any oter company for that matter will ask u to send money b/4 u collect ur winnings.
