— Best response from Dr Joe Ugboaja One of the frequently asked questions by persons who have such a tight schedule or come from very strict religious backgrounds is- the importance of social groups. There are people who believe these organizations are a place for show-offs, others think it a place to waste valuable time, others find the financial contributions overwhelming. We spoke to a number of successful professionals who have given us different points of views, however, we have decided to share the best response which is from Dr Ugboaja- the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee. Social groups and organizations are important, according to him he belongs to many organizations and these include professional, religious and social organizations and have been active in many of these. A number of them include the Nigeria Medical Association(NMA) where he was Chairman of Nnewi zone, Society of gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria(SOGON) he is equally the Anambra State Coordinator, Association of Gynaecological endoscopy surgeons he is also the ASG. These have been tremendously impactful when he started it served as an avenue to meet friends, develop professionally and discuss the future of the profession and what needs to be improved.
