Why Nigeria Like This... by Saito20: 7:02pm On Aug 25, 2020
When I heard and read that my country Nigeria has just borrowed 5000metric tonnes of grains from ECOWAS today, I was shocked! Why? This same government has boasted that by the second quarter of the year 2020, we would have been exporting grains to neighbouring countries and beyond. May we ask the Honorable Minister of Agriculture what went wrong along the line that we must become a borrower country rather than an exporter they say we were going to be? Could it be that herdsmen's cattle had plunder on the grain farms and those in store already?
Well, it is a pity we don't know if we are making progress or not base on the new of a Giant Africa borrowing grains in this contemporary times.
