As funny as it sounds, it's true.
Yesterday I was in the church and my Pastor quoted a Bible verse on proverbs. So after opening my Bible I had to just continue reading from where he stopped because I love reading my Bible.
But then I came across
Proverbs 11 Vs 1
Which says
" A FALSE balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his Delight. grin

Which is to say if your account balance is 0.00 it's an abomination.
So better go and hustle so your children won't be screaming vanity upon vanity on Nairaland.
Awon vanity gang
grin

Go and get The bag because a just weight is his Delight

I'm not The One who said it
The Bible says so.

Peace out grin

Wrong interpretation, Very wrong.

The verse refers to people who are dubious in their dealings with people especially when it relates to business and investment.

Op you are very wrong with such interpretation. The balance there is not your account balance but a measurement balance.

Thus a true interpretation refers to traders who uses a in of measurement to sell their products.

You discover that in our society today, many traders will cut their cup, petrol metres tampered with, scales adjusted, or even agreements falsified, all to make additional profit.

These are what God says are abomination before him.

May God help us all.
