In sane climes, warnings of such nature will be followed up by non-stop advisories issued by govt, including plans to temporarily resettle those who may be worst hit...but in Nigeria, this statement released is an evidence that they told you something at a certain point. Nobody cares about follow up efforts. Infact it is when the flood begin to tumble everything that NEMA and some disaster ministry staff will hold a press conference to ask for the understanding of victims, while encouraging Nigerians to pray. Then those who will survive it will be given expired rice in some IDP camps to flex. |

Righteousness89:What if the flood was the aftermath of the abundant rain. “Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before. |
