There is a vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor in an Investment firm in Lagos.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist the Team Lead in preparing estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities, specifications, and schedule of rates for new builds, improvements, and maintenance work.
Assist in carrying out construction valuations and certification duties for responsive, cyclical, and planned maintenance works.
Assist in carrying out financial checks on completed repairs and maintenance jobs as required.
Assist in preparing, profiling, monitoring, and managing budgets for all construction related activities including responsive repairs, cyclical and planned maintenance.
Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
Write procurement update reports, site reports, tender reports, and other relevant reports.
Assist and support administrative and field staff to maximize performance.
Implement best practices, procedures, and standards in real estate operations.

JOB EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 -5 years in a similar role.
Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university (minimum of 2:1) in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.
Construction estimating or finance experience is a strong advantage.
Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports.
Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets.
Strong financial analysis skills.
In-depth understanding of building construction, materials, pricing, and industry.
