According to Mr. Patrick, Customer management is very essential for sales but so is location, that’s an unwritten rule of sales in agency banking. ‘’In this business, the major thing is the location. Every experienced agency banker knows you won’t get a high turn over if your location is not favorable. You don’t just open kiosks in a close or anyhow area because you want to start a business and someone else did. The busier the area, the better for your business.’’ Mr. Patrick added.


Recently, He added an agency banking corner to his mart. Asides serving as a second source of income, the agency banking corner also helps customers make withdrawals and payments with his POS thereby greatly reducing conflict resolution between his cashiers and customers on ‘change’, underpayments, and credit buys issues. Now customers can make withdrawals from the agency banking slot before going on to the store to make purchases, for some customers it takes away the extra need to go join an ATM queue under the sun to withdraw money before coming to the store now they can eliminate that journey and just do all that in the mart.
