Airtel Data Are SCAM by LordGodBless9ja: 8:00pm On Aug 28, 2020 |
This is to bring to notice of my follow nairalander to beware of Airtel data, because Airtel are into fraudulent activity. BELOW IS HOW AIRTEL (SCAM COMPANY) WIPED OFF MY 8GB SUBSCRIPTION IN JUST 6 DAYS. *my name is Abidemi Airtel user for close to 1 year. I made 4GB MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION with code *144# on 21/8/2020. I'm a light user (the apps i use are whatsapp, telegram, opera web browser and chrome browser) i don't spent much time online because am a very busy person. First the browsing speed was very slow, i called their customer line (111) on 23/8/2020 to help me fix the problem, they claim to help me fix the problem in next 24 hours but after 24 hours the story is still the same. To my surprise on 24/8/2020 afternoon i received sms notification from airtel that my 4GB subscription remains 500MB, I was very angry and i immediately called airtel customer service (111) to report the problem, a lady with name (Folake) picked the call and say there is nothing she can do to help. I was really angry and i felt like breaking the useless Airtel sim card. But I have a second thought to find the cause of the problem maybe something was wrong somewhere or maybe i caused the error. So I decided to drop email to Airtel email address customercare@ng.airtel.com but alas they didn't reply my email or send me email to confirm they received my email. I drop another email to that same address but no response again. So on 25/8/2020 i decided to make another subscription of 4GB again this time i decide to study my data usage and what could cause the first problem. Dont forget i said I'm light user (i dont use much data), I checked my data balance with *140# every time i remember to know my remaining balance, on 26/8/2020 my data was still 4GB, on 27/8/2020 my data was still 4GB, on 28/8/2020 morning (today morning) i checked, i still have 4GB (4026MB) but this same day evening @ 4:46pm i receive sms notification that my data remains 500MB, immediately i called Airtel customer service (111) to report the problem, this time around a guy picked the call (i didn't remember the guy name). I was really angry, i explained the situation to the guy and he said nothing he can do to help. I sent email to customercare@ng.airtel.com to report the problem and i also forward the complaint to this airtel customer email too airtelpremier@ng.airtel.com but am not sure they will reply. @ 5:41pm same evening, same 28/8/2020, i received sms notification that i have used up my data. AIRTEL COMPANY IS A JOKE I made some research on Google search to know if Airtel has ever acted in such a foolish way before and i found alot of complaints online and complainers said Airtel customer service doesn't try in any way to help fix customers problems. Many of the complainers rain insult /curse on the Airtel customer service. Currently I on my WiFi to connect with my second phone Etisalat subscription. I connected the WiFi @5:57pm now is 7:39pm, and Etisalat charged me 5MB, note, these time around am using my 2 phones on my Etisalat because i on my phone (1) hot-spot to connect phone (2). Now this is close to 2 hours Etisalat remove just 5MB. With this i can say Airtel wiped off that 500MB @ 4:46pm - 5:41pm 28/8/2020 even when am not pressing my phone. With this i can say Airtel wiped off my complete 4026MB on 28/8/2020, even when i didn't browse or chat Dear nairalanders, I'm sorry for my long essay and forgive me for any wrong use of English or any Bad Language. This is my first moment to create time to write complaint or write long essay online. My bottom line is AIRTEL ARE SCAM, THEY ARE FULL OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY We can share our bad experience with Airtel company /airtel service below. Regards, Abidemi 1 Like |

I even tried to use AIRTEL REPORT FRUAD SELF SERVICE to report the problem @ https://selfcare.ng.airtel.com/Report/Fraud But to my surprise Airtel provide 6 letters as turning code but when you try to input the letters in the space provided to enable you submit your complain you can only type in 5 letters, you won't be able to input the 6 letters given to you. So you will not be able to submit any complaint via the AIRTEL REPORT FRUAD SELF SERVICE. See the screen shot below

Don't be too surprised because you're dealing with the Indians and they're up to many things, the worst is that your leaders cares not once they have their cut of the total loot. |
