Plateau State Government Should Come To The Aid Of NVRI, Vom by NybenSBF101(m): 11:35pm On Aug 28, 2020
The Staff of National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI), Vom and people living around the area are living in fears both from arm robbers and kidnappers. This night a senior staff of NVRI (name withheld) was kidnapped inside the quarters. Last week two person were kidnapped in K-Vom where the institute is located. No one moves around freely at night for fear of being robbed or kidnapped. Kidnapping has become a lucrative business in this area because none of the news media is reporting about this ugly trend and the security officers are not making any arrests. Since January till date not less than 15 persons have been kidnapped. I call on my fellow to draw the attention of the state governor Hon Barr Simon Lalong and the IG of Police to send DCP Abba Kyari to Vom and put an end to this kidnapping epidemic. Thank you
